Chesterfield County Public Schools (CCPS) have seen increasing enrollment over the past several years and want to ensure their budgeting policies are well positioned to navigate the changes that come with serving more students. As CCPS’s needs change, they are evaluating and amending budgeting policies to keep pace with enrollment increases.
The district’s goals include streamlining personnel planning across its 64 schools, allocating dollars to school sites effectively and efficiently as enrollment fluctuates and finding easy-to-use budgeting tools that facilitate collaboration during the budgeting process. Allovue’s budgeting software will help CCPS refine its budgeting practices to account for enrollment increases and strengthen ties between strategic goals and district budgets.
CCPS Director of Budget Kailyn Campbell is looking forward to working with Allovue to enact these changes. “Partnering with Allovue will help me and my team work more collaboratively, reduce manual processes and make the most of CCPS’s resources to support our students’ needs.”
Using Allovue, CCPS can create budgets collaboratively, including expenses that are linked to district-wide priorities and strategic initiatives. In this way, all budget stakeholders will be working through the budget process at the same pace and using the same strategies. Allovue will also support the district in creating nimble resource allocation models that can easily respond to changing enrollment and staffing needs.
