Several years after consolidating five school boards into a unified district, Champlain Valley School District in Shelburne, Vermont (CVSD) began using Allovue’s Manage tool to increase site-level autonomy in budget monitoring. Moving forward, Allovue Manage will also help CVSD navigate potential revenue changes due to Vermont’s education funding formula updates.
“As a former Allovue customer in another district, I wanted to implement solutions at Champlain Valley to increase clarity and communication on spending,” said Superintendent Rene Sanchez. “Shifting CVSD’s strategic plan to more metric-driven goals will require more accountability and visibility into the district’s finances. This level of transparency can further help administrators make more informed spending decisions aligned to the district’s strategic plan.
